The Lingowares Collection is one of three curated collections that we offer – designed by Kate and Courtney, two sisters living in the Philadelphia area. The collection is inspired by the importance and impact of words.
Struck by the notion that just one word or phrase can make you happy, proud or feel like a badass, we created Lingowares. Our work is influenced by the resiliency, mindsets and energy of many people we have been lucky to know.

How did this collaboration come to fruition?
One chilly night in December 2017, Chris jumped in his Honda Civic and headed to Ardmore, PA to attend an outdoor holiday festival organized by our good friend, Carrie Kohs, owner of pucciManuli in Ardmore. She introduced Chris to Kate and Courtney, and after chatting for a few minutes, they realized there was a great opportunity for “Eric & Christopher” to help spread the Lingowares message of positivity and mindfulness to a larger audience through our network of retail customers.
We started making the first Lingowares pillows, totes and tea towels in January 2018, and Kate and Courtney sold them through their website to consumers and at events. We introduced the collection to our retail customers in July 2018, and are excited to continue growing the collection and helping to spread the message of the importance and impact of words.
Our mission is to push ourselves, our creativity, and our boundaries, and pull the best out of each other by continuing to collaborate with other designers and artists who we feel inspired by.
